Day 2200: The End of the Road

Posted by Thomas Andersen Posted on Oct - 10 - 2016

I’m not sure if I really understood it myself yet, but I’m back home in Copenhagen!

58.201 km, 2200 days, and 58 countries since I left… but those are only numbers. What’s really important is the memories; the fascinating places I saw, and the amazing people I met. Trust me, the world is generally a good place ๐Ÿ™‚

At the same time it feels right to be back among friends and loved ones again. Such were my thoughts as I cycled into the Copenhagen City Hall Square – the very same place where it all started back in 2010.

Friends, family, and followers – thanks for joining the virtual ride and and thanks for all the moral support. It was a true pleasure having you on board!

Thomas

Oh, and don’t worry too much – this channel will not go silent. As you might have noticed I only made it to Kenya in my diary. I will spend the next month updating the blog so that I will make it through the rest of Africa and Europe back to Copenhagen in the virtual world as well. Stay tuned…
