Yesterday I met Mark from New Zealand at my hostel. Mark has been traveling around Turkey by bus for the last 3 weeks so he knew where to buy a cheap bus ticket to Istanbul. He even decided to head the same way. Moving those 350 km sure is a lot easier when you don’t have to cycle!
In Istanbul I checked into another hostel and soon met Matthieu from France. Matthieu had been walking from Paris to Istanbul for the last 6 months! He now also rested his legs. We sure had a few things to talk about.
Great feeling to be back in Istanbul for the 3rd and surely not last time.

Hi Leon! Very happy to see you here. It was indeed a very nice hostel in Istanbul. Forgive me, but I was there in 2010, and by now I have forgot the name.
