Day number 100 on the road – I can only wish the next 100 days will be as good as the first.
Took a short ride around Luxor and the Nile. Even on a rest day it is hard to leave the bicycle alone with surroundings like these. I don’t know of any better way to get a quick overview of a city than on a bicycle.
Back on the hotel I had a nice chat with a couple from Holland who had been in Sudan. Very interesting country but it doesn’t look like I’m going to get to know it this time around. Instead I’m booked for a flight to Dubai and onwards to India in a few days.
