Yesterday I applied online for a so called Working Holiday Visa to Australia. In the morning I had this message in my inbox: “This is to advise that you have been granted a Working Holiday Visa, Subclass 417, on 10 May 2011”. That was fast – thank you Australia! This means I am allowed to stay 1 year in Australia and work any job for 6 months at a time. It looks like I will be staying a bit longer Down Under than I had first planned!
In the afternoon I found a bike shop to stock up on inner tubes and a few other needed items. Tomorrow I will be taking a ferry over to Indonesia!
