I’m surprised that most Indonesian people are quite familiar with Denmark. And no, not (only) for the Muhammed drawings, but mostly because of badminton. Indonesians love badminton, and they will often mention Danish players I have no idea about.
The road today was busier than what I have been used to on Sumatra. Not too many cars, but the trucks and buses where too close when they were overtaking.
I have plans to venture into the mountain back roads in a few days.
