I decided to cycle to Yogyakarta even though I certainly didn’t feel in top shape in the morning. Taking a couple of days off to recover would be much more interesting in Yogyakarta than in the somehow random town of Kebumen where I had stayed yesterday.

The cycling was beautiful and once again flat. I passed the 12000 km mark in a small village. Only 4000 km to go to Sydney.

Arriving in Yogyakarta I suddenly saw other tourists again, and finding a cheap hotel was easy. I will take a few days off the bike to explore the city.
