With Fred’s arrival I quickly decided to stay another day in Gokarna. The hotel staff is now getting used to me saying “I will stay one more night” each morning. Gokarna being such an amazing place, I don’t think this is the first time they have heard this.
Together with Fred I took another hike out to Kudle Beach. It’s a 20 minute walk from Gokarna and this is where many of the hippies hang out. The hippie culture is alive and thriving over here.
Back in town we joked that we were spending 3 to 4 times as much money on food as on accommodation these days. That’s the way it should be for cyclists.
