Day 139: Eluru – Rajahmundry

Posted by Thomas Andersen Posted on Mar - 02 - 2011

Distance: 88.28 km
Ridetime: 03:55:11
Average: 22.5 km/h
Total distance: 6075 km

For the first time on the trip I found the afternoon heat to be quite overwhelming. I took an extra long lunch break to deal with it.

As I entered Rajahmundry a friendly guy on a motorcycle drove up next to me and started to chat. He turned out to be a Christian priest. And a persistent one. “I will pick you up at your hotel at 7” he said without waiting for an answer. Mr. Sweet (yes, Sweet like sugar as he said) seemed disappointing I didn’t believe in the Christian god, but did promise to include me in his prayers.
