I was continuing my trip through rural parts of North Carolina towards Apex where Will AA4NC and Liana lives.
I was very happy to arrive at Will’s house – in fact this place had turned into an important milestone for me. When I was in the USA back in May doing our road trip though 12 states in 10 days, we had spent a night at Will’s place. Already back then Will and Liana had invited me to stop by on my bike – and here I was!
Will is not only a radio guy – he is also a private pilot and a musician. Soon after arriving we drove out to enjoy an outdoor concert mixed with a couple of the great local beer that are popular around here. Nate N4YDU who lives close by even stopped by. It was a happy reunion!
What a great way to spend a day!
