A Cycle Touring Expedition Around The World

Videos

Posted by Thomas Andersen

Europe was the 6th and final continent by bike. Perhaps slightly less adventurous than South America or Africa, but what a beautiful ride to finish with; After 6 years of roaming the world i was time to go home. Thank you all for being a part of the journey!

Africa

Africa – what a Grand Finale 🙂 A collection of photos and videos from my 8 months and 10.000 km on the continent – from Cape Town to Cairo!

North America

North America, 9495 Kilometers, 150 Days, 10 Countries, by bicycle… From Panama to Canada – The most social ride so far!

South America

What an adventure it was out there in the Andes Mountains – all the way from Ushuaia in Argentina to Cartagena in Colombia. 1 year, 7 countries, 14000 km, a lot of challenges, and an equal number of breathtaking views. I tried to put it all together in a single video…

Climbing Chachani

A two day expedition to climb the Chachani mountain outside Arequipa in southern Peru. First time over 6000 meters! Cold but amazing climb.

Cowboy Life in the Australian Outback

When I came to Australia my bank account was almost empty. I got a job on an outback cattle station. The most unique job ever had, and will probably ever have.

Cycling Across Australia and New Zealand

I fell in love with Australia as I cycled across the outback passing Alice Springs on the way to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. Later New Zealand would prove to be one of the most amazing places I have seen.

Cycling Across India

India has been one of my favourite countries to cycle through. I made a video from my 2500 km trip there to try to describe why.

From Denmark to Egypt in 90 Seconds

I left Denmark in early October 2010 when it was already getting cold in Europe. I was heading south towards warmer climates as fast as I could.
