Day 60: Kuşadasi

Posted by Thomas Andersen Posted on Dec - 04 - 2010

Manon is working for her family company located outside of Izmir. It was in the direction I was heading anyway, so we left the bicycle in the car in the morning.

On the company grounds Manon is kept in company by Jashin (horse) and Bonnie (puppy).

After a couple of business meetings (Manon, not me) it was possible to escape the office and we headed to the nearby Ephesus ruin. As usual I was not prepared at all (I almost never open my guide book) but I think that make the impressions of the things I am seeing only bigger.

After the Ephesus visit we went to the seaside town of Kuşadasi. I had been planning to look for a hotel there but Manon invited me to stay on the family yacht for the night. Oh well, life on the road is full of surprises.
