Day 95: Cairo – Beni Suef

Posted by Thomas Andersen Posted on Jan - 12 - 2011

Distance: 123.37 km
Ridetime: 5:55:07
Average: 20.5 km/h
Total distance: 4125 km

While most people would be returning to their offices after the Christmas holidays I was back on the bike. The next leg of the journey will take me down along the Nile to Luxor.

Navigating my way out of Cairo was easy – go to the Nile and turn left.

It didn’t take long before I was in rural surroundings again. It seems like the way the farmers are cultivating their land hasn’t changed for ages. Donkeys used as carry animals are everywhere. With the occasional cow walking around the street as well, it feels like being back in India.

    Hi Thomas,
I have to say…The Nile has been one of the most special places I’ve ever been…… enjoy “him”…
